Thoughts and Prayers?

Anyone who is reading this, please consider that I am new at this. I guess I should also thank you for probing the outer backwoods of the internet to access this. I bid you welcome weather or not you are a brother in Christ or not. That is what it is all about I guess, perhaps I should be grateful that the rent and bills are paid as well as food and cable and internet. This is far more than what would have happened to a modern Joseph and Mary if they had wandered into modern day Gaza, just a thought. I need to consider that God loves me and doesn’t appear to want me to endanger my rent and food for a slim chance to help anyone.
God is more concerned with me and what to say next. Do I talk about how the Supreme Court responds to the Trump appeals on Tuesday (December 19th 2023) or is it Wednesday. Right now I am not sure what to do with myself as Washington takes to the airport for Christmas, New Years and any other reason to stay away….OPPS, to ‘host a town hall’ …whatever. Back to reality, do I need to talk about the three (at least) abortion cases winding up to the Supreme Court like a venomous python. My prayers also go to the women who are caught up in this political/fundamentalist tizzy that wanted to make a statement rather than be ‘pro life.’ Anyone who wants to defend the Dobbs Decision to overturn the Casey Decision, I am all ears. My chances are better than a republican response to Obamacare. If anyone wants to scream baby-killer with cherrypicked bible verses, I said Casey not Roe, if that matters. I was not supposed to get spun up, ok God let’s move on.
Let’s move on to the Supreme Courts decision to take Trumps appeals to abuse the court system. I will start with a prediction or is it a fantasy where Justice Roberts responds with “We are ready to address your whining grievance to us and have decided that any present or future appeals will either addressed within two weeks with the judges ruling stands be it you are out at least $250 or are to surrender yourself and leave the courtroom out the backdoor of the court in handcuffs and off to jail/prison. We also have declared null and void all Legal Non-Disclosure agreements you have made over the years. We do not care that you are running for president. The Bill of rights is not just for you.” There I said it, the chances of this actually happening is disturbingly low, the real problem is that most of the media be it lame-stream and especially fright wing is even lower. We will get some kind of ‘fair and balanced’ coverage from them as too many of us just want the football scores. Now for a real prediction that is far more plausible than above. The Supreme Court will ‘allow’ the Washington District Court to listen to the case and monitor the decision. There it is, we are not in reality to think we will get anything more. I would be happy if either the Washington District Court or the Supreme Court renders a decision withing two or three weeks, bangs its gavel and the trial goes on, but even that will not keep Trump’s and his lawyers from looking for any loophole or way to file an appeal like a sixth grade bully appealing to the principal, trying to find some way to keep beating up a kid in class. I want an end to this. The Supreme Court has the ability to defang this threat to us by taking the power of appeal from trump, after he has had far more consideration than any of us. This is the only way trump will face the accountability that has been decades overdue. That would be a better Christmas Present to me than a car.
