This week in life

                By the time you read this, I will have gone a week without MSNBC. I still read some but with some thought of if it matters this year/before Jan 5th, that is when the Wise men presented Jesus with the gifts. It is better to read the news rather than watch it anyway. There are two things that seriously tempted me today. The first is a story that Rachell Maddow was crying while doing a story. I think it is some of the media trying to smear her, let’s call it tabloid bullshit. I could say more, I believe she would drink if she was so overwhelmed. I do know she suffers from depression. I am concerned, but she is honest about this. She is a lot more professional than that.  Her pattern is to take a few days off when this happens. That was in the days when she was on five days a week. Now, as you know, she is into all kinds of other projects. Back today, I am curious about what she takes out of the news. The best thing to think about is something she says a lot, watch what they do and not what they say. Rachell has been saying that since trump was a Democrat. I believe that lamestream media will inform me if they deem it important, much like how they are talking about Morning Joe. For the record up to election day, I started every morning with Morning Joe with my breakfast and checking my computer. I almost did today after reading about this meeting Joe and Mika had with trump in Mar a Lago. I can think of two reasons why: trump is concerned with his ratings and how his truth social business will work out. The fact that elon musk is losing users to a new “blue” social media twitter equivalent probably hasn’t come up on team trump’s radar. My money is on the competing twitter wars will be what ends the bromance between trump and elon musk. The other reason why trump invited Morning Joe to Mar a Lago is that trump wants to offer Joe a cabinet position. We will see, take note that the late-night talk shows have made a lot of good jokes about what I call the ‘trump clown cabinet’. I hope Joe doesn’t take any cabinet position, A lot of leftist media pundits have criticized Joe for going, but I want to find out Joe and Mika’s side of the story but am not willing to go through a four hour show to get it. I got it recorded if I change my mind. I might even get it from lamestream media. Perhaps my real fear is that Joe will flip like lindsey graham, j d vance and so many others who change their tune when trump waves his magic wand. I don’t think that will happen with Joe and Mika and would be very disappointed if they did. I guess we will see.
