Post Election Thoughts

                When MSNBC (NBC) called Pennsylvania for trump, something switched in me. I think I got my remote and put on my recording of The Dayley Show. The election is over, and there is nothing I can do about it. I am still processing while shifting my priorities to my masters program for the rest of the semester. The real changes won’t happen till January anyways, and I need to re-order my life anyways. Then I saw this mieme on Facebook, I may still be in shock but leave it to Kira to guide me. She is my best Star Trek role model, and this is more true now than ever. I honestly haven’t followed the Democrats actions since I turned off MSNBC, but I still follow in a partial way. Let’s at least give us a few days to let the hang-over run its course. It is understandable for us to snap at each other, while pushing any idea of how we lost, no matter how contradicted these thoughts are. I do believe we will tolerate each other and figure out what to do next….eventually. Perhaps we need another bender, although I would not recommend that for other reasons. They might not like when I say Judge Not Lest Ye be Judged….so what.

                Perhaps that is where the mime comes in. I still believe in the United States of America, even when we are occupied as we will be. I am not even sure how or if I need to fight this occupation. Let’s see how it all works out. This mime will stick with me for a while. Perhaps I will just write Star Trek Novels. There is no doubt that at least part of these stories will have Kira’s line in mind. Who knows where to go from here.
