The real problem now is who is reporting this, let's take faux which represents somewhere between %47 and %30 of us. My point is that faux makes sure that something like this will NEVER reach their audience. This is part of controlling the narrative and insulating them from even lamestream medias 'sanewashing' Our only hope is how much of their audience is truly in this alternate reality. If there is anything practical we can take from this is to determine who we deal with in our daily lives and determine if theya are worth the chance of converting. It also might be helpful to know that even getting even the worst of them to stay home as some evangelicals are considering.
