Let's start with Nikki Haley

Let’s start with Nikki Haley and keep the tangents to a minimum, even though I try not to follow politics on the Weekend. Now back to Nikki Haley.

            I don’t know what she said after the losing her home states primary (South Carolina). No matter what, I didn’t expect her to drop out because she still has a group of doners who are keeping her in the race, at least until super Tuesday (March 5th). I am more interested in why these doners are supporting her more than anything she says, at least until March 6th. I believe Nikki Haley and her doners are keeping her in the race as ‘trump insurance’, and not as Rachell Maddow claims that Nikki is auditioning for trump’s vice president. I am interested in what you feel and what you think about what she said.

            Now, on to trump and what faux and fright wing media will NEVER say. Ever since the two rulings against trump for the tune of a HALF A BILLION DOLLARS, I have tried to collect as much information as possible about how he will pay this out of his net worth. What makes this really interesting is he has to pony up the money to be able to file an appeal. It is pretty clear he doesn’t have it in a safe at mar a lago, so he is in a corner and his options are limited no matter how much melodious lying hot air he bloviates, or how many times his remaining lawyers can xerox off the paperwork for a delay, he has until March 25th to pay up, and I have no idea how or if he will be able to do it. He could ask pootski (vladimere putin the Russian leader) or MBS (the crown prince of Saudi Arabia) or even Elon Musk to bail him out, but I doubt that MBS or Elon Musk would want or be able to handle being identified in this.  I doubt that pootski would be able to do it. There is a chance that any of those three or some other entity, foreign or domestic can do this anonymously, but I don’t think the press will allow it, even if the anonymous doner is not identified, the press can easily make up whoever is convenient to sell papers.  Of course, I wont allow it and believe that Biden and we Democrats will be able to exploit this as a campaign issue. The next two options trump has should be considered together, trump could get someone to put up a bond in which he puts up some of his property for collateral. I put these together because they both involve putting up deeds in order to pay up. This is my best guess on how trump will pay up, but the devil is in the details. This is what will make the next few weeks very interesting. I have already heard a buzz that 40 Wall St. might be involved. Another interesting part of this, trump now has a retired judge running his business, so there is a real possibility that trump will not be able to choose what property he loses. Expect this week to see trump squirm and bloviate as the press has a field day on the possibilities. It also might be fun see trump have a conniption fit over the both his money losing ventures are exposed as well as his true net-worth being exposed, which I believe includes secret loans. I believe that the publicity will be the real interesting part, and that has already begun. Personally, I want to see him loose everything but Doral…bedbugs and all, but I would be satisfied with him losing trump tower, Bedminster and Mar a Lago. That is just his civil court cases.

            Moving onto trumps criminal prospects. The mainstream press may be right in identifying the election fraud case as being small potatoes, but how do we judge it against any president being tried in court for a felony?  There are two important things about this trial: first, Michael Cohen has already been tried, convicted and served his sentence for following trump’s orders in this case. This is an open and shut case, and trump is guilty as hell. There is a real possibility that when trump is found guilty, the judge could have trump locked up. I believe that Nikki Haley and her doners are staying in the race because of this fact. There is a real possibility that trump will spend election day in prison. In other news, this case details how trump has manipulated the media by killing stories with the aid of David pecker, who owns the National Enquirer. The details of the trial may not breck the hold of faux and fright wing media, but the rest of the media will enjoy filling us in on these details, just in time to make campaign commercials to at least %56 of us that are open to the fact that trump is a lying crook, and the trial starts the week trump is due to pony up for his civil judgements.

            In the mean time trump is facing three other major trials, and at least one or two will happen, despite how much trump tries to stop it. Let’s start with the January 6th trial, which is hung up in the Supreme Court on an appeal. In order to delay the trial, five Supreme Court Justices will have to vote for a stay, and I don’t see it. In the mean time trump has gotten the delay he wants. Although it can go on indefinitely, I don’t see that happening. I am surprised that the decision has been delayed this long, and there is speculation in the press that someone is writing a dissent on the decision. I am as cynical and suspicious as anyone, but I don’t see this last through this week, and  the case will revert to Judge Chutkin (who presides over the Jan 6th case) who will schedule it after the fraud case in June, that is if the Mar a Lago documents case doesn’t take the date. I am not sure if Alien Cannon (the judge in the documents case) can do anything more to service trumps desire for delay, without being forced to recuse herself. After that you have the Georgia case that can happen after either the documents case or the Jan 6th case after trump minion’s fail to make the prosecutor in Georgia’s personal business an issue. The truth is that at least one of these major cases will go to trial and produce a conviction, although faux will not say that, nor will the rest of lamestream media who needs to be as sure of the result as Ronald Regan’s victory (they are not sure about any election since because they fear being wrong that much). I am as sure of this as faux was when they (correctly) called Arizona on election day 2020 for Biden.

            Now we go back to the primary race and the fallout after trump collects the delegates needed to sew up the republican nomination, this I am sure of.  From there it is time for the republicans to deal with their nominee is a convicted felon. The republicans might be able to scramble as trump is convicted. Who knows, trump could deliver a speech wearing an ankle monitor. It is prudent to remind you that trump could be in custody and unable to speak at the convention. There is also a real chance that trump could be sentenced in the fraud case by the August republican Convention with the possibility that one of the other three have produced another guilty verdict; with the possibility that Georgia will try their case right before the election.

            Like it or not, that’s the way it is February 26th 2024.
