A Rant

            If you don’t go off on a rant, then I will. You may think this is about the Democrats, but I believe the real problem is lamestream media who has brought up this Biden stuff for the umpteenth news-cycle and nothing is said that in the same F**KEN debate, trump did not tell the truth, say anything substantial AND sidestepped any question with “I did not sleep with a porn-star”. What does trump and his Kremlin tabloid media operation have on them to not cover the true threat to the America I love. Biden puts on a clinic in the NATO press conference and lamestream media is trolling the rest of the Democratic leaders for any discouraging word. Biden takes Lester Holt to school and all we hear of is some flub early on. The end of that interview, when Biden suggests they talk about something that actually has meaning to our lives dissipates in the media before the interview ends to troll another Democrat to say anything to make Biden look bad. I could go on.

            On a related topic, I believe that if you go over trump’s performance in the debate, we can get several sound bytes that can make the Goldwater Daisy add look like MR. Rodgers. Perhaps the same could be said of trump’s convention speech, but I didn’t watch it. I don’t like conventions, especially the republican conventions. I might have listened to five or so minutes on Monday afternoon and muted it and put on music, I wish I remembered what, let’s say it is Neil Diamond. America, my favorite ‘patriotic song’ for the record, The Highwayman by Johnny Cash is a close second. 

            Ok, I am not done ranting, but this really gets me mad.  Perhaps it is too many times I have been sent on hoop-jumping fool’s errand, just to give someone a warm fuzzy. Like Biden, I have been put through relentless pressure and lies on how easy it is to do what they want, when all it will do is make me look like a jackass because they are Pollyanna about what someone will do to fuck it up and refuse to believe it. Ok, I must admit this is personal, but don’t tell anyone like Lester Holt or Stephanopoulos. I might trust faux more, I have noticed how faux and fright wing media are silent on this. They know they don’t need to meddle and have it blow up in their face. Unfortunately, they are good at things like this. What lamestream media doesn’t get is if Biden would step down, it would open up a HUGE can of worms and make us look bad. Nobody says that, not because it makes sense, but it doesn’t sell papers or whoever broadcasts the soap opera.

            I look at it the same way Dwight Eisenhower did on say June 1st or is it the 6th. He said that he felt ultra powerful up until he gave the order to go on D-day. We Democrats have to look at our role and what to do at this point. If Ike had become disabled, how much would it change the plan and how the invasion went. The same goes for us now. What makes it better is that it is in the Constitution that Kamala would take over if something happened. As it is now, only a small part of the media doesn’t understand this. I believe that if Biden did step down, there would be a cry for an open convention. I KNOW that the republicans will try to force it in court if possible. Right now, I don’t care, it won’t affect what I do. I didn’t vote for Biden because I like him. I voted for him because of his agenda and opposition to trump and whatever mutation that now manifests itself as Project 2025. Perhaps that is why I will vote Democrat no matter what this year. My best reason is to keep what Biden has done in place. You have said yourself about how we need the votes to do anything else. Mark my words, if trump wins, the tax structure will be changes as soon as they can, VERY BADLY unless you are a billionaire.
